Hi, my name is Heidi Linne' (Harris) Jackson^w, and I am a crafting goddess. In real life, I am a project manager in Albuquerque for a local health care provider. By day, I diligently make plans and schedules to complete business goals and objectives dealing with medical testing and diagnosis. Without any actual power, except my own personal influence, I manage people, or "resources" as we call them, that do not actually report to me. I know it seems an ironic sort of management job, but nonetheless, I love it. It has the necessary level of professionalism, and more importantly, it helps pay for the things I like to have in my life. So in my own way, I am a professional. I have a very strong work ethic and a keen sense of quality - thank you to my parents - and an innate need for perfection. So you might be wondering - how did hats happen in the middle of all that?

I love to wear hats. In fact, a grey kitty hat that Mr. Wifey, Mark (at that time he was "only" my boyfriend), MADE me purchase online from SpunkyKitty.com (now defunct, RIP) got me started. Our kids began asking for their own silly hats and in an effort to be thrifty and give myself the perfect excuse to buy a serger, I thought I would see how handy I could be with a sewing machine.
